Physician Malpractice Defense

In today's difficult economic times with rising insurance costs and massive cuts to healthcare reimbursement rates affecting their bottom line, many physicians have chosen to "post and go bare", opting to drop their exorbitant medical malpractice insurance coverage electing instead to comply with the State of Florida Financial Responsibility laws through other legally acceptable methods outlined in Florida Statute §458.320. When an uninsured physician is sued for medical negligence he or she must find and employ their own legal counsel without the assistance of the insurance company.
